Learn Your Rights

When you understand what your rights really are then you are empowered to defend them.

Can you list 5 rights NOT listed in the Bill of Rights?

Drawing a blank? You're not alone. Many don't know their rights, let alone able to define one.

What Amendment Protects All of Your Rights not listed on the Bill of Rights?
The 9th.

Rights are inherent when life begins

Rights vs. Permissions

The root cause of all our public problems is not understanding the difference between Rights vs. Permissions.

It is critical to understand what your rights actually are. Otherwise how can you defend them or know when you've lost them?

  • People have rights
  • True laws protect people
  • True laws protect property
  • Public servants have permissions

What is a right?

A right is something you can DO without asking for permission

The opposite of a right, therefore, is something you CANNOT do without asking for permission.

Rights have 3 principles

1. Property

All rights are derived from property. If you don't own property then you have no rights.

A simple example: Imagine you own land, you are free to roam as you please. But if your neighbor wants to walk on your land they need to ask permission.

The important concept here is that permissions are granted, and they can be revoked at any time for any reason. Rights and permissions are opposites.

Rights have 3 principles

2. Responsibility

Rights and responsibilities are like heads and tails on the same coin; you can't have one without the other; every right has to be exercised responsibly.

You have a right to self defense, but you do not have a right to harm another individual because of the 3rd principle.

Rights have 3 principles

3. Equal Rights of Others

The only limitation on your rights is the equal rights of others.

To put it another way, you only have the right to your property. You do not have the right to anyone else's property.

Individual Rights

ONLY Individual Rights Exist

Only individuals exist, therefore, ONLY individual rights exist. Rights are "inherent" in a person, making it physically impossible to extract them by any means. They don't exist because a piece of paper says so.

Protected by the 9th Amendment
The Ninth Amendment confirms that the Bill of Rights is only a partial list and that countless other rights are enjoyed by the people but not documented there. Individual rights are protected by the Constitution; there's no such thing as 'Constitutional rights.'
License = Asking for permission
When you get a marriage, drivers, business etc… license. What do you have permission to do now that you did not have permission to do before? More importantly, who gave you that permission in the first place? Do you have rights or permissions?
You have a right to:
You have a right to own property, to produce goods and services, trade freely, travel, contract, keep the fruits of your labor etc... basically any action that does not infringe on the rights of others.
Purpose of the Constitution
Who was the Constitution written for? For public servants. The purpose of the Constitution is to protect our rights and property by severely limiting the permissions delegated to public servants.

Proper use of the Law

The Standard Of Freedom

The Standard of Freedom is a principle that everyone can live up to, uniting us together in the pursuit of freedom and justice for all.

It MUST be used in a free society. It is the standard against which every law must be judged.

Law can only be used in two ways: to protect your rights and your property, or to steal your property and take away your rights.

Rights exist before laws are made;
therefore, they are superior to them.
Does this law violate individual rights?
Every problem in the world can and must be solved voluntarily to avoid violating individual rights. No one needs excess power over others.
Law already exists.
The law has been used as plunder to take away your property and rights. There is a false notion that new laws need to be created continually. However, law already exists to ensure that those who damage property or infringe upon freedom are held accountable and brought to justice.
